Nothing belongs on the tying bench like a good craft brew!
What: The Albemarle Angler is partnering with Starr Hill Brewery to put on a series of fly tying classes. We will be tying innovative and effective patterns for our region. This month we will be tying a ‘glass rabbit’; an extremely productive baitfish pattern for smallmouth in the fall. Smallies are chasing bait this time of year, in order to fatten up for the winter. No experience necessary. Seating is limited and going fast.
Cost: $20 per participant covers your vise, tools and material for the evening. You also receive a Starr Hill Glass of the week, a Starr Hill T-shirt and a Starr Hill Koozie! There is no charge for those who would like to hang out and watch.
**Also for the month of July Starr Hill has ‘Cheers for Charity’, in which a dollar from every pint sold goes to the American Heart Assocation**
