Come on out on Tuesday evening (1/17) and join Cole Fischer in learning to tie simple Clouser minnow streamers. The Clouser is an extremely versatile fly and will introduce working with bucktail to make larger profiles. This class will build on techniques used from last week’s class about midges and advance your skills further. These classes are FREE! We have vises, tools, and instructions included and materials for purchase in the store or feel free to bring your own. Cole is a fantastic instructor and tier, he will help you learn everything you need to be successful in tying flies. Thursday (1/19) will be a musky fly oriented “free-tie” session with Spotswood Payne. The instruction will build on last week’s class to more advanced techniques in tying large musky or predator flies. Also, next Wednesday (1/25) we will be hosting our popular tying in the taproom event out at Starr Hill Tap Room in Crozet. Cole Fischer will be instructing to class in tying a CDC emerger pattern. $20 includes all materials and tools as well as instruction. Give us a call to sign up!
