The weather/rain has been keeping water levels up in the Blue Ridge Mountains and a little to high in the lower laying trout streams.
The brown trout egg planting that took place in the South River seems to had had good success. Sounds like a large number of the eggs did hatch. Time will tell.
The James, New and Shenandoah Rivers are back to great flows after experiencing very low flows this fall and early winter. Musky fishing has really improved with the higher flows.
