Sachem’s Pass At River House Farm, On The Rose River.

Welcome to River House Farm on the Rose River.

We are very excited and honored to announce that the wonderful owners of River House Farm on the Rose River, Tom and Vicki H, have let us add this beautiful property and wonderful fishery to Sachems Pass. As soon as you pull on the property you will notice the pride Tom and Vicki take in their property and river/fishery.

Located in Syria, Virginia it’s a short 37 miles from Charlottesville and 75 miles from Fairfax/northern Virginia. The River House property offers a ½ mile of river and a very nice pond that holds trout and some very large bass. The half mile of river offers over a dozen great pools, countless riffles and some great pocket water. The diversity of this river makes it a great option for both the novice and experienced angler.

If you need a little more open space to warm up your cast or just get in some casting practice the pond is the perfect place. However, your casting practice might get interrupted by a trout or bass grabbing your fly. The gazebo by the pond is available members and makes a great place to relax and have lunch.

River House Farm on the Rose River is limited to 2 anglers per day and is open to members from September 1^st– June 30^th depending on weather conditions. This property can not be designated as river of choosing for Bronze or Gold members.
