Welcome to South River Preserve.
Located just minutes off Rt 230 in Greene county, South River Preserve is truly the outdoorsman’s paradise.
Virginia Working Landscapes at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute does regular wildlife surveys on the property for pollinators and birds as well. As soon as you enter the property you noticed the commitment of the Hazel family to preserving, maintaining, and enjoying the great outdoors. Here is a great article from the Virginia Sportsman. Jimmy & Sally property owners spend as much time as they can at SRP. I am sure you will have the opportunity to meet them while they are out for a walk with their dogs or in the river chasing trout! Please do take the time to introduce yourself when visiting SRP.
