Smallmouth Bass
One of our favorite guided fly fishing trips! If you haven’t done a smallmouth float trip you need to try it! Smallmouth bass are unbelievably strong fighters and aggressive feeders.
Gar
Gar in general are aggressive and vicious feeders. The fly patterns we use to target these fish produce some very visual and violent strikes. Some gar really don’t put up much of a fight while others will jump, tail-walk, or put you deep into backing
Tailwater Trout
The Jackson River in Bath County is one of Virginia’s most famous streams. There are plenty of wild Rainbow and Brown trout, some of which grow to very large sizes in this year round tailwater fishery. Generally, we will do a full day float using our Fishcraft rafts to hop from spot to spot then wade fish the numerous riffles, runs and pools of the Jackson.
Virginia Musky
The Musky. Even thought they have been swimming in many Virginia rivers and lakes for over five decades, they have gone unnoticed by many until recently. All gear is provided, rods and reels with appropriate lines.
Brook Trout
We have extensive knowledge of local mountain streams and would love to share this unique experience of catching the native Brook Trout of the East Coast with you.
